Discovering the Blavet
Starting from the port of Locmiquélic, discover the calm waters of the Blavet river and its landscapes...
Service Description
The Polvern lock in Hennebont marks the final stage of the Blavet Canal. A little further on, the Kerhervy boat graveyard shelters former tuna fishing vessels from Morbihan, which sought refuge there during the German fishing ban in World War II. After passing under the Bonhomme bridge, the Blavet widens, opening onto the ports of Lorient and Pen Mané in Locmiquélic. The gentle flow of the river gradually gives way to sea spray and salty air; the river changes color, and the ebb and flow of the tides become palpable. And, offshore, Groix beckons with new discoveries to be made… PRICES: Adult: €50 Child (2-10 years): €30 Group rate (5 people max): €180 Private boat rental: €180
